2 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. Group Class C (Smooth/Ballroom - Waltz maximizing your steps/styling)
3 p.m. - 3:45 p.m Group Class D (Rhythm/Latin - Cha Cha action through your core/leg/feet)
GROUP CLASSES:
$25 each per person or all 4 classes for $75.00!

Voted "Best Ballroom Dancing Lessons"
ABSOLUTE BALLROOM voted BEST BALLROOM DANCE LESSON in Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh public has named Absolute Ballroom and Dance Center of Pittsburgh in the “Best Of” which
is compiled by Pittsburgh Magazine. A brief article about the studio will be featured in the September issue of
this popular regional magazine.
As owner of the studio, Shadyside resident Beth Damron, could not be more thrilled with the team of
independent instructors that call Absolute Ballroom home. "We really do have the best of the best," says
Damron, "Our instructors are knowledgeable, current (with trends and styles), personable, and take great pride
in what they do. We realize that ballroom dancing is a luxury item and we treat each person that walks into the
studio as a VIP. There is something very special about Absolute Ballroom and we are thrilled that the
Pittsburgh public is rewarding our efforts!”
Amanda Wolf, independent dance instructor, is the newest member of the Absolute Ballroom Dance
Community. Relocating from Milwaukee Wisconsin, Amanda enjoys instructing Pittsburgh’s beginner and
advanced dancers. “Pittsburgh Dancers are a lot of fun” says Wolf, “they are always excited to learn the most
current styles of dancing and they work hard to look great on the floor!” Amanda competes professionally with
Absolute Ballroom’s Artistic Director Andrew Pueschel whose approach to teaching is one that is quite unique
to Pittsburgh, but not to the staff at the studio.
"It truly is ALL about the dancing at Absolute Ballroom," states Pueschel, “everyone learns at their own rate
and wants to learn different things. I believe that every body type, personality, age, and skill level are privy to a
specialized and personal dance experience. There is no such thing as ‘cookie cutter’ when it comes to ballroom
dancing! Thank you Pittsburgh for recognizing us!”
Focusing on the specific needs of the Pittsburgh dancer, Absolute Ballroom has a roster of instructors that
specialize in a specific type of dance training: Andrew Pueschel (Competitive Ballroom and Latin), Amanda
Wolf (Competitive Ballroom and Latin), Ryan Mitchell (Salsa), Emily Weitkamp (Ballroom), Koichiro Suzuki
(Argentine Tango), Barbara Simard (Adult Ballet), Brad and Sarah Wheeler (West Coast Swing), Olga Grant
(Latin), and Shreeree Buchanan (Zumba).
Located at 6617 Hamilton Avenue (across from the Animal Rescue League), Absolute Ballroom and Dance
Center of Pittsburgh opened its doors in the spring of 2008. With the best elements of the independent and
franchise studio worlds fused together, Absolute Ballroom strives to create a thriving social dance community
with creative performance opportunities for dancers at ALL skill and age levels – all at affordable prices.
