natural and confident much faster than you think!
Depending on the amount of time you have, our professionals will work closely with you to either create and
develop a choreographed dance tailored to your specific song or help you gracefully improvise on the dance
floor. If you don’t already have a song, we can even help you with your selection!

At Absolute Ballroom and Dance Center of Pittsburgh- it truly is "All about the dancing!" Developed with the needs of the dancer in mind, Absolute Ballroom provides top-quality dance instruction at affordable prices.
Since opening its doors in June of 2008, Absolute Ballroom has captured the hearts (and feet) of experienced and novice dancers from as far as Bethesda Maryland and Cleveland Ohio. With the city’s most up-to-date facility as well as an abundance of dance/social opportunities, Pittsburghers have accepted the studio as an institution for creative exploration and personal development – and also a place to have A GREAT TIME!
“We have succeeded in creating something truly magical in the city of Pittsburgh,” says Beth Damron (owner) “we have taken what we feel is the best elements of the independent and franchise studio worlds and have fused them together to create a thriving social dance community for dancers at ALL skill and age levels – and its working!”
With group lessons for $5 - $10 from Monday to Saturday and private lessons ranging from $45 - $65 each, the opportunities for personal development are not only affordable but area also numerous. Artistic Director and Professional Dance Instructor, Andrew Pueschel, stands behind the studio’s original philosophy of “promoting the positive effects of creative movement for youth, singles, couples, social, and competitive dancers of all experience levels.”
“The success of Dancing With the Stars and other tv/movie events have helped promote our name,” says Pueschel, “but the REAL SUCCESS comes from the value of client recognition and word of mouth promotion from those who have been to the space and/or have continued their dancing experience with us.”

NEW INTRO to SOCIAL DANCING CLASS:
Amanda Wolf will be teaching an Intro to Social Dance Basics on Thursdays at 7:30 - 8:30 starting in May. If you are interested in this course, please call 412-441-1461 to hold your place in the class. Classes are $15 each or $10 each if you prepay for the month. Join us for a Cha Cha Lesson and Social dance to kick off our weekend of top- level instruction in latin, rhythm, smooth, and standard dancing with one of the area’s most accomplished dancers!
